PostSubject: Tutorial on how to have Javascript(js).   Sun Jul 26, 2009 10:38 pm

if ye find it hard to use the other tut for having a JS file here's the easier way. dance

MAKING yer own .JS(Javascript) File:

1) Open a NOTEPAD.

2) After opening the notepad, Just put yer JS codes on the txt area.

ex: LOL

Paste this example code below in the Notepad: (Force Log-IN)

Code:
if(pageViewerID==""){
alert("Please log in your FRIENDSTER account to view this page!");
top.location.href="http://www.friendster.com";
}

that will be your 1st js trick (yay)

3) After placing the code in Notepad go to File and Save As.

4) After clicking "Save As" type your file name add a .js on it.
so this would be like:mycodes.js

5) Then save your file.

How To Host:

1) Find a Web-Hosting Site. like fileave,ripway etc. I suggest that if ye find it hard to signup with those given, try to search for other hosting sites @ yahoo or google.bounce

2) After yer done signin' up peeps, just go to "MY FILES" then "UPLOAD FILES".

3) After selecting "Upload files", you'll see "BROWSE" button. Click "BROWSE" and select the mycodes.js(or whatever filename,js ye used), The click "OPEN" Button, Then click "UPLOAD".

4) After that get the direct link of yer JS:
somethin' like: http://whatever.fileave.com/mycodes.js

LINK YER CODE!:
Code:
<script src="direct link of yer JS"></script>

PASTE THE CODE at @ Media box SECTION.

thanks peeps!~
credits to: wackyarca,rafael of hcg
-this is just my revised version of his tut-
ENJOY pimpin' yer site.

lol!
